Photo angles let your team capture standardized shots of rental units. You set these up in Check-In/Out settings.
Steps to Set Up Photo Angles
Go to Settings → Check In/Out in the admin menu.
Ensure you are using Advanced Check In/Check Out — this feature must be enabled to see photo angle settings.
Scroll down to the Photo/Video Angles section.

Configure Your Angles
➡ Name Your Angles
By default: Front, Left, Back, Right.
Click into the field to rename angles (e.g., Cockpit, Stern Step, Engine Port).
➡ Make Angles Required
Enable Required to ensure staff must capture that angle before completing check in/out.
➡ Add or Remove Angles
Use + Add to add more angles (up to your operation’s needs).
Use the trash icon to remove angles you don’t need.
If you don't want or need to name your photo angles, you still must have a photo angle. You can leave just one angle option, called ALL ANGLES (or similar). This will assign the same angle to all uploaded photos and videos.

Best Practices
Define angles that match your rental layout (e.g., bow, stern, port, starboard for boats).
If you offer varying types of rentals, keep the angle terms generic or use the default angles.
Keep angle names simple and easy to understand.
Use required angles for high-risk items where full documentation matters.
