BookingCentral allows you to automatically send a text message to customers when a new booking is created. This message includes a link to their order so they can quickly view booking details, payment status, and next steps.
Automatic booking texts help keep customers informed and reduce follow-up questions for your team.
To enable this feature, go to Settings - SMS.
In the Order Text section, check "Send order text", and Save.
When a new booking is made via the online checkout or the backend, the phone number on file with the customer will received a text message with a link to their Order.
The message will indicate if the booking is a confirmed or pending order.
Customer will be able to click the link in their text message and view the Order Summary that includes:
- Booking/Order Code
- Booking Status
- Rental/Activity
- Date/Time
- Rentals Price and additional charges fees
- Payments made
- Balance Due
