Setting up a Deposit Rule for Rentals

You can set up deposit a rule for your Rentals which will be the amount collected at the time of booking.  

To Set up a Deposit Rule:

  • Go to Settings - Rentals - select the rental from the list (or Add Rental if you have not set up the rental yet)
  • Go to the Price List tab
  • Select your deposit rule from the Deposit section.

Deposit Options include:

  • Full Amount - will take the entire amount at the time of booking.
  • Fixed Amount (Per Unit) - will take a fixed amount per rental unit booked.
  • Fixed Amount - will take a fixed amount at the time of booking.
  • Percentage - will take a percentage of the total at the time of booking.
  • No payment required, hold card on file - will not take any payment, but will collect the credit card information.  The credit card will be held on file to charge at a later time.
  • No payment required - will not take any deposit/payment at the time of booking.
