If you want to add some buffer time between your rental bookings, you can do so using the Buffer feature in the Resources setup. This will allow you to do any maintenance, cleaning, or general preparation before the rental goes out again to the next customer.
To add a buffer between rental times:
- Navigate to Settings - Rentals - select the rental from the list
- Go to the Resources tab
- Select the Buffer options here. Options include:
- Buffer before: this will block time before each booking
- Buffer after (suggested): this will block time after each booking
When a new booking is made, it will include the buffer time on the Resources Calendar in the system, as well as show in the details the amount of buffer time (e.g. 0/30 = 30 minutes buffer after rental).
